Cathedral Rock and the Milky Way

The Milky Way rises over Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona. This is a composite image with a light-painted foreground. The Milky Way rose around 5 AM on this morning and was only clearly visible for a few minutes before light from the rising sun began to wash it out.
